We provide guided ascents up all of Ecuador’s eleven peaks over 5.000 m (16,400 ft) and climbing school courses; all with recommended acclimatization options to better prepare for and prevent altitude sickness. The beautiful highland treks and low elevation ascents will help you acclimatize to the higher elevation of Ecuador. These are then followed by an ascent of one of the high altitude peaks, such as Chimborazo.

For active travelers, we offer a number of trekking trips. We hike through the mountain valleys and countryside on foot with the support of a porter crew. This was the form of travel used by the first pioneer explorers, and is still today one of the best ways to explore the highland village communities. Ecuador has exceptional geographic and biological diversity, with 45 designated natural areas to help preserve their rich natural heritage all of which are open for trekking explorations.

We offer pre-designed day trips and longer adventure tours. The day trips include an exploration of the churches and history found in Old Town Quito, the first UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Center, a ride up to an elevation of 4,000 m (13,123 ft) on the teleferiqo to gaze down into the city below, shopping at the artisan market filling the Plaza de Ponchos and spilling out into the streets at Otavalo or a trip to the plaza monument that marks the Equatorial Line in the village of the Mitad del Mundo.
